Hey, all! I’m feeling kinda sick while staying here at this undisclosed location on my peacekeeping road trip. I can’t say what city I’m in on the advice of my pastor – who I am traveling with – but I will be resting up trying to feel better so I can make a journey to another city about five hours away. They gamble at that city. No more hints!

I will undertake my massive James Bond reviewing project next week. And thanks to all the people who suggested things on the FOT board. I could use more small one-off suggestions (like Nerd ropes) and less epic quests (like a season of a TV show – this Bond thing is gonna be the end of me.)

There’s a website I’ve been going to for the last few years everytime I’m down or in need of a pick-me-up. It’s a celebrity lookalikes for hire site called Lookalike-USA. Just one glimpse of some of my favorite celebrity impersonators and the spring is back in my step.

And I’m not trying to be mean – it must be a hard haul working as a celebrity lookalike. All you’ve brought to the table is the same genetic makeup as someone who you have no other connection to. But some of these people are stretching the definition of ‘lookalike’. For example this guy:

He’s just making the DeNiro face! I could be doing that! Does he get hired for a party and walk around doing that look all night? He must have to ice down his jowls at evening’s end!

Or what about this person:

Mark McGwire? Seriously?! That hat is working harder than he is! If I was that hat, I would demand at least 60 percent of the cash for the gig. That is, if ANYBODY WAS ACTUALLY HIRING THIS GUY. In all honesty, if he’s making more than a hundred bucks showing up at a party wearing that hat, I’m going to the Sports Authority to buy a Cardinals cap, then I’m growing a beard that I shall dye light orange. And for the record, I will undercut this guy by a dollar, corporate gig bookers!

I can and will go on and on about this site over the next few whatevers. I’m going to bed now to fortify myself.
